The Sharp Flats Apartments (Shared Housing)

Hello! I was very lucky to get this 2 bedroom flat in a historic building in charming downtown Salem (15 minutes from downtown Roanoke and about 35 minutes from Blacksburg). It typically has a wait list, but I was just in town at the right time... looking for a place. It has beautiful lofted ceilings, natural light, and nice modern appliances. The additional bedroom is small, without windows, but has a closet and it's own lovely full bathroom. It will be furnished with a twin bed (optional). My bedroom will be the larger master bedroom, and I plan to pay $100 more a month in rent.

I have a 4 year old, friendly and quirky orange tabby cat named Aristotle (Ari for short). He likes making friends with my roommates, and I'd be very open to anyone who may want to get a kitten (Ari would love that). He typically adjusts well to other cats as well.

I'm looking for someone who is clean, calm, and enjoys a peaceful home that's hospitable to friends at decent hours but not too frequently. The flat is not super big, but the high ceilings and open layout are wonderful. The farmers market is right across the street with nearby parks as well. Move in date can be as early as July 1, but around August 1 would be ideal.

This apartment building doesn't allow for subletting or long term outside guests. It also requires rental insurance which we will split. We will also be responsible for splitting utilities.
