1br 1ba in a 2br 2ba Smith's Landing Apartment

THIS IS FOR A BEDROOM IN A UNIT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SMITHS LANDING IN GENERAL PLEASE SEE THEIR WEBSITE.

Looking for someone either to become our roommate or take up our half of a lease at Smith's Landing. The unit is a 2 bed 2 bath on the...
second/third floor of the building. It's got a lovely covered balcony and wide windows that don't get too sunny past 10 am. The living room is spacious with faux wood floors. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, stainless steel double sink, fridge, and a nice pantry, as well as plenty of cabinets. Additionally, there is a bar with barstools which we will likely stay with the unit so there is no need to bring a large dining table. There is also a toaster, a brand-new microwave, and the oven/stovetop is electric.
There is a nifty app that lets you control the alarm system, door lock, and thermostat from anywhere, though no phone is necessary to access those features. It's been very handy when running to the bus in the mornings.

The bedrooms are a good size with lots of lighting and depending on if you are taking over our lease or becoming our roommate you will either have a private bathroom with a shower, or a two-door bathroom(basically private) with a tub shower. Either way, they both are very nice, no issues with cold water or anything.

As for location Smith's Landing is a quiet community, though the walls are pretty sound-resistant so there really hasn't been issues with noise. You are right next to the cambell horse barn and LARNA so if you are a transfer student like me, or an incoming animal or dairy science student, this is a great location for getting to those ag classes.
You are about a 5-minute walk to a BT stop which is serviced by the HWA/HWB and CRB busses. They will take you to the southern bus terminal so right next to NCB and HAHN.
If you would rather bike, there is a covered bike rack just down the stairs, and a uncovered one just a little further. There are two ways to go and both are around 10-20 minutes if you are out of shape like me.

You are a short walk from the huckleberry trail, which has fresh blackberries in the summer.

The rent is $1,590 for the whole unit or around $795 without utilities. The bedrooms can each house two people, which is what we did, bringing that price down to $398. Pet fees are $40 and they are pet-friendly for cats and dogs, though I'm unsure about exotics and aquatics.

You will have a roommate already occupying the other room.
