Vacant Room in 5-Person Queer-Friendly House
Hey y’all! We are looking for another housemate to join our queer housing collective, with an ideal move-in of early August (but can be negotiated)! The available room is $400 plus ~$125/month in utilities. The house is a two-floor 1960's style home... with lots of space in the Bennett Hill-Progress neighborhood. The current roommates are both graduate and undergrad students that take our studies seriously but also enjoy spending some time together and hosting a party once a semester! We like to spend time together by hosting watch parties, playing board games, sharing meals, and attending events together. We tend to lean sustainability-minded, so get ready to get composting and recycling! We already have one canine resident, but he could not hurt a fly, does not bark, and lives exclusively in the basement, so the upstairs where the empty bedroom is is a pet-free zone but could also accommodate a pet. We are looking for an individual who has kind and honest communication, is responsible with collectively assigned chores/general cleanliness, and brings good energy to our home. Please reach out to me if you are interested! Queer & transgender individuals especially encouraged to reach out!
